:本站的mkII-CN采用的是自主硬件設計,可以有效控制成本,并簡化了原裝mkII中完全沒有必要的冗余電路,使得數據可以更好更快的傳遞,從而在實現兼容的前提下提升一定的性能。本站自主設計的硬件電路成本比原裝低很多,成本控制好了價格自然也可以下來,讓廣大用戶得到實惠。
2Q:貴站的mkII-CN如何保證沒有bug?在出現bug后如何進行修正?修正需要多長時間?

:本站分析研究mkII已經有整整兩年時間,mkII-CN這個產品不是憑空設計的,而是經過我們很長時間的分析和研究的,經過幾個內部版本和幾個月的測試,目前已經可以說非常可靠和穩定,當然我們不可能保證100%的不出bug。一旦客戶發現bug,請與我們及時溝通,我們在確認bug后會在第一時間進行修正,一般bug的確認和解決不會超過3個工作日。
3Q:為什么說mkII-CN的速度要比原裝的快?

:mkII-CN不光從硬件上優化了電路設計,更從軟件上進行了較大程度的優化,有效的控制了數據鏈路長度,從而有效的提高了編程速度。有條件的用戶可以與原裝對比一下ISP和JTAG的編程速度。
4Q:我不小心將原裝的固件升級到了mkII-CN,我該怎么辦?

:請不用擔心。你只需要重新運行一遍升級操作就可以了,請使用我們發布的固件。為了方便固件升級,我們發布了一個升級軟件,通過該軟件,可以方便的選擇仿真器型號和固件版本,然后即可進行升級,且該軟件并不破壞原裝固件。
5Q:mkII-CN會不會被ATMEL認為是盜版產品而通過序列號進行封殺?

:mkII-CN是一個自主設計的反向工程產品,ATMEL原廠工程師及其一級代理商均認可了這款產品。對ATMEL而言,我們是第三方工具供應商,ATMEL會以積極的態度接受我們的產品。同時,由于mkII-CN的升級固件是我們自己發布的,協議也是我們自己編寫的,所以不必擔心來自ATMEL方面的技術封殺。倒是那些clone
mkII比較容易受限制。
6Q:如何保證及時發布固件?

:mkII-CN是我們自行設計的產品,我們對AVR/AVR32的調試協議已經全部掌握,所以在ATMEL發布新版本固件后,我們會在第一時間發布適合我們mkII-CN的新版固件。新固件版本的編寫不超過1個工作日。如果ATMEL發布新版本固件,請及時告知我們,謝謝。

:每個mkII-CN都有一個獨立的序列號,所以可以方便的連接多個mkII-CN,AVRSTUDIO/AVR32STUDIO會提示你連接哪個mkII-CN。
8Q:mkII-CN的功耗大么?需要外接電源么?

:mkII-CN的功耗很低,不需要外接電源,通過USB
1.1供電就足夠了。原裝的mkII由于電路復雜,功耗比較大,如果USB功能能力較弱(比如USB
1.1的PC)或者USB線纜線阻較大就會出現供電不足的情況。所以原裝mkII預留了一個外部電源接口,而mkII-CN尾部的外部電源接口是不需要使用的,也沒有實際電路,只是一個裝飾。
9Q:mkII-CN的保護電路設計的如何?

:mkII-CN在USB端口和目標板接口上都設計了保護電路。USB端口有一個自復位的過流保護,可以有效保護PC機USB端口和仿真器。目標板接口上采用較為復雜的保護電路,當電源供應不對,比如ISP和JTAG插反的情況下,接口電路是不工作的,從而有效保護接口電路。
10Q:mkII-CN采用的是什么接口?需要安裝驅動么?

:mkII-CN采用的是真正USB接口,尾部的串口是裝飾物,并無實際功能,mkII-CN使用的是和原裝一樣的驅動,在安裝AVRSTUDIO的時候只需要勾選自帶的驅動即可。AVRSTUDIO安裝完畢后插上mkII-CN,當PC提示安裝驅動的時候只需要自動安裝即可。

Why mkII-CN so cheap? Does this mean low price, low
performance?

: mkII-CN is designed by ourself,
remove the un-used circuit from the original mkII from ATMEL, this
has two advantages: less components, faster communication speed.
Though the hardware is not the same as the original one, the
functionality is all the same. So the customers can by this use less
money.
2Q:
How can you ensure your own design is fully compatible with the
ATMEL one? If there is a bug, how to fix it?

: We analyzed the
original products for 2 years. And we tested several versions before
mass products. We can not guarantee there is no bug, but we
guarantee that we will delivery the fix as soon as the customer find
a bug.
3Q:
Why mkII-CN is faster than mkII from ATMEL?
3A
: Compare with the
original one, mkII-CN has a simple hardware, this will reduce the
signal latency. On the other hand, we optimize the software, to
imporve the programming speed. You can compare the programing speed
(via ISP or JTAG) with original one, and send back your results,

How can I do if I update the mkII-CN with the firmware from
ATMEL?

: Don't worry. Please re-update the
mkII-CN with the firmware distribute by us. We have provided a
software tools. Use this tool, you can update your mkII-CN freely.

Does there is an issue, mkII-CN will be disabled in AVRStudio by
ATMEL, since ATMEL may treat it as pirate?

: mkII-CN is approved
by ATMEL engineer and be selected as tool by some distributor. Most
important is, mkII-CN is designed by ourself, both hardware &
software, not a CLONE to the original
products.

How to ensure you can delivery the firmware timely?

: We promise to issue
new firmware within 3 working days after ATMEL release new AVRstudio
or for bug fixing. Communicate us if you found there is a updated
from ATMEL.

Can I connect multiple mkII-CN to one PC?

: Each mkII-CN has its
own SN, so you can do this as you wish. Just make sure you choose
the right one in AVRStudio.

Dose mkII-CN need stand alone power supply?

: It is enough to
power the mkII-CN with USB. Do not connect power supply to mkII-CN,
that power jack is useless.
9Q:
Does mkII-CN has a protect circuit on the connect interface, how
about it?
9A
: mkII-CN has protect circuit for both
USB & target interfaces. USB port has a over-current protect
fuse(self recovery), this can protect the PC USB port. The protect
circuit for target connection port is more complex. It will not work
if the target power is not OK, e.g., the ISP/JTAG is not properly
connected.

Which port used to connect mkII-CN to PC? Does special driver
needed?

: mkII-CN use USB interface connect
to PC, not USB to RS232 chip, it is true USB. The RS232 JACK on the
tail is useless. mkII-CN use the same driver as the original one
from ATMEL. Please click to install the USB driver when installing
AVRStudio. After the installation of AVRstudio, plug the mkII-CN to
PC, it will be identified by the PC, and install driver
automatically.
